How does Myoovi work?
The Myoovi device comes in a choice 3 different colours. Peach, Sienna & Mocha to closely match your skin tone, and is made to not stand out like a sore thumb when you are wearing it.
The Myoovi device is a small, circular TENS machine with 3 buttons on the front. The On/Off button, which turns the device on and off and once on, also changes the pattern of the pulses.
The remaining buttons are for decreasing, and increasing the intensity of the pulses.
The device has a Micro USB port for charging, so no need to replace any batteries!
On the back of the device, there are two button holes for the device to be placed onto the pad.
The device will come with 2, butterfly shaped pads. These pads have button type clips on for your Myoovi device to clip onto, using two buttons, which keeps it nice and secure. The pads are supposed to last between 20-30 uses, but I got a lot more uses out of mine!
At the back of the pads, they have a paper backing, which when removed and peeled off will reveal two, very sticky pads for you to stick onto the affected area. This will usually be your lower stomach when this is being used for Period & Endometriosis pain.

Pros/Cons of Myoovi
The pros of Myoovi;
Great for instant pain relief – As soon as the device is put on the affected area, it starts working straight away! It really is a life saver!
Very discreet & practical – The device is quite small and can be hidden well underneath clothing very easily. It can easily be stuck to the affected area and you can go about your day.
Colour Range – They offer colour ranges to closely match skin tones, which also helps keep the device discreet and hidden while we are out and about!
Impressive Battery Life – Lasts 8+ hours off a single charge! I have got multiple, 8+ hour work days out of one charge! I feel like I hardly ever have to charge it! No need to replace batteries.
Compact device – No unnecessary cables, or separate parts. The device is compact and all in one unit.
Easy to use – The device is very user friendly, no confusing screens or complicated buttons. Just 3 buttons, on/off button which is also used to change the pulse pattern, & increase and decrease intensity buttons.
Comfortable – The device and pads are very comfortable to wear, and can be kept on all day without any discomfort. I forget I have it on most of the time! I can carry it around in my bag, take it out and pop it on whenever I need to!
Pads last a long time – I have found that the replacement pads last a long time! I have had my own Myoovi for over a year now, and I have just used up my second replacement pad!
No longer needing pain killers – Since I started using this device, I hardly ever take pain killers now during my period, or during an Endo flare!
The (Very few) Cons of Myoovi are;
Accidental Button Pressing – Because of the placement of the buttons being on the front of the device, they can sometimes accidentally be pressed by the type of clothing you are wearing, or by sitting down, or moving. This can sometimes change the intensity of the pulses or the pulse pattern, which can sometimes be a bit out of the blue!
Replacement Pads Price – To replace the pads, it currently costs £15 for two, replacement pads, which may seem a bit costly for two pads. However, Myoovi do offer subscription plans to reduce this cost slightly, and the pads do last a very long time, so I do think it is a worthwhile investment!
Final Thoughts on Myoovi
I have owned my own Myoovi device for well over a year now, and I can honestly say that I can never go back. It has massively changed my life, and how I am able to get through day to day activities. I am able to make it to work, go on days out, and experience things I never used to be able to as it helps ease my pain so much, and takes so much of the anxiety and stresses away.
I suffer from Endometriosis and very bad, heavy and painful periods and this device has been a life saver for me, and I have put so much confidence in this device helping me in my time of need. I could not recommend this more.
